Hi! My name is Lauren, and I’m a photographer based in South West Cumbria.

My passion for photography spans over a decade. I’ve always enjoyed photography, but began to really take an interest when I was 15. I received a ‘bridge’ camera for my 16th Birthday and developed a love for travel photography when on a trip to Venice. Ever since, I’ve been an avid photographer.

I studied A-Level Photography and Media Studies at College, followed by a Foundation Diploma in Art & Design. I then went on to study BA (Hons) Photography at Leeds Arts University, graduating in 2024.

Growing up in The Lake District, I’ve been surrounded by natural beauty my entire life and this has been at the heart of much of my work. However, after being taught photography in such creative environments, the style of my work varies greatly. I have had so many opportunities to experiment freely and I’ve always been encouraged to work creatively.

Each photograph I take captures a visual narrative, shot with precision and passion. Some of my images contain hidden metaphors and some are simply creative because it looks interesting - sometimes there isn’t always a deep meaning in art!

For me, photography is not just about capturing moments; it's about redefining storytelling through the lens and making people feel truly comfortable in front of the camera.
